Bitcoin, Ethereum 'Pretty Clearly' Commodities, Says Coinbase CEO

Brian Armstrong, the founder, and CEO of crypto exchange Coinbase Global Inc (NASDAQ:COIN), said that Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) and Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) are “pretty clearly” commodities.

What Happened: In a recent episode of the All-In podcast, Armstrong explained that he believes different cryptocurrencies can be considered types of assets by regulators’ definition.
