Oklahoma City forward Bismack Biyombo experienced a concerning moment during Wednesday night's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. In the second quarter, Biyombo appeared to collapse while standing in front of the Thunder bench. The incident occurred as the team was heading to the sideline for a timeout.
Following the fall, there was a significant delay as medical personnel attended to Biyombo. A wheelchair was brought onto the court as a precautionary measure, although ultimately it was not needed. Biyombo was assisted off the court and made his way towards the locker room for further evaluation.
Fortunately, Trail Blazers physicians quickly assessed Biyombo and determined that there were no serious medical issues. However, as a precaution, Biyombo is scheduled for additional evaluation the following day, as reported by Bally Sports Oklahoma.
Bismack Biyombo, a seasoned NBA veteran with 13 years of experience, had recently joined the Thunder and was playing in only his fifth game with the team after signing on February 10.
