The shortlist for an annual celebration of the Birmingham legal community has been announced.
Anthony Collins, Irwin Mitchell, Greens and Squire Patton Boggs are among those to have received multiple nominations in the 2022 Birmingham Law Society Legal Awards which return as an in-person event for the first time in two years.
There will be 12 separate awards handed out on the night including the Lifetime Achievement honour for someone who has given exceptional service to the city legal community.
This year's awards feature two new categories, celebrating equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives and the achievements of in-house counsel members.
Law Society president Stephanie Perraton said: "We wanted to recognise the equality and diversity achievements from our members.
"Creating this award is an important step for the society and we can't wait to showcase the fantastic initiatives in place as we look to inspire the next generation. Overall, we have been blown away by the nominations we have received for each award.
"While it is an incredibly difficult task to whittle the finalists down, we are proud to provide a platform to showcase the city's incredible talent. We can't wait to celebrate with the industry in what is set to be a fantastic evening."
The awards take place on March 31 at the ICC in Birmingham.
