Bin set on fire 'deliberately' outside North Down flats

A bin has been set on fire causing damage to a block of flats in Holywood.

The incident was reported at around 1.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service said one fire engine was sent to the scene in North Down from Knock Fire Station.

The blaze was extinguished and the incident dealt with by around 1.50pm.

No one was injured during the incident. (Belfast Live)

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately, with no injuries reported among those in the nearby flats.
