Billy Crystal has paid tribute to his close friend Rob Reiner and the film director’s wife, Michele, joining a group of leading figures from the US comedy world in a joint statement following the couple’s brutal murder.
Crystal was among several prominent friends and collaborators, including Albert Brooks, Larry David, Martin Short and director Barry Levinson, who shared a statement with the Associated Press on Tuesday evening honouring the filmmaker’s life and work.
