After exiting the Bills’ Week 4 victory with a reported ankle injury, the latest update on Tre’Davious White indicates Buffalo will likely finish the year without the star cornerback.
The Bills fear White, 28, sustained a season-ending torn Achilles during Sunday’s 48–20 win over the Dolphins, according to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington. The two-time Pro Bowler is currently slated to undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm the diagnosis, per Darlington.
While Buffalo awaits official word, the report signals a daunting road ahead for the Bills and White, who notable played 17 total games in 2021 and 2022 due to a left torn ACL.
Against Miami, White’s afternoon ended in the third quarter while covering Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill. White, unable to put weight on his leg, went to the ground soon thereafter, and appeared emotional on the sideline as he threw his helmet before being carted off to the locker room.
