Bills' James Cook Had a Three-Word Message After Dominant Game vs. Cowboys

Bills running back James Cook put the team on his back during their lopsided 31–10 win over the Cowboys in Week 15.

Buffalo was able to put up 31 points against Dallas despite Josh Allen throwing for just 94 passing yards in the game. It was Cook who breathed life into the Bills’ offense, as he toted the ball 25 times for 179 yards and caught two passes for 42 yards. The 24-year-old scored two touchdowns in the win, and he was fired up after what was a career-best performance.

Cook, a second-round pick out of Georgia in 2022 and the younger brother of Jets' running back Dalvin Cook, took to X after the game with a short message for his supporters.

“Today was FUN,” he wrote, along with a grinning emoji and the hashtag #BillsMafia.

In the win, Cook set a career-high in rushing yards as he broke the 100-yard threshold for the third time this season. It was his first multi-touchdown game in the NFL and he was clearly delighted in the aftermath.

Cook had 221 total yards in the Bills’ win while the Dallas offense amassed just 195 yards of total offense. He became the first player since Todd Gurley in 2017 to record more than 200 scrimmage yards against the Cowboys’ defense, per Jane Slater of NFL Network.

Allen had a brilliant reaction to Cook’s career night during his postgame interview after the game, saying to Fox’s Erin Andrews, “Let James Cook.”

Buffalo secured a much-needed win on the strength of Cook’s dominant outing, having now won back-to-back games against the Cowboys and Chiefs
