On Tuesday, cornerback Rasul Douglas was a member of the Packers. The NFL trade deadline came and went, though, and Green Bay attached a fifth-round draft pick to Douglas and sent him to the Bills for a third-round pick.
It was little more than a routine transaction, but on Wednesday Buffalo used it for some post-practice comedic fodder.
When the Bills tweeted out their injury report, Douglas appeared on it, despite the fact he's started every Packers game this season. The reason given wasn't any injury, but the fact that Douglas "just got here."
