The billionaire who built the retail empire behind mall staples such as Victoria’s Secret and Abercrombie & Fitch told lawmakers Wednesday that he had been “duped by a world-class con man” his former financial adviser, Jeffrey Epstein.
Les Wexner said he was unaware of Epstein’s criminal conduct and denied any involvement in the abuse of girls and young women.
