When it comes to getting a lot done, any "Shark Tank" investors probably have their fair share of time management tips. After all, the Sharks (as they're mostly lovingly called on the show) each own parts of so many businesses -- with that many companies to check up on, your day could get really full really quickly.
Real estate mogul and long-time Shark Barbara Corcoran revealed in a recent Instagram short that she has her own simple, easy trick to balancing her time. You may have heard of it -- it's called making a list. Of course, Corcoran has her own method which she says helps her knock out even the most daunting of tasks.

"There's something I do every night for a successful day that follows," she says in the clip. "I never go to bed without a to-do list done for the following day."

Okay, "write a to-do list" isn't exactly revolutionary. But when she wakes up, Corcoran uses the list very effectively. "I look at the to-do list, and you know there's going to be 60 things or 10 things on any given day. And I run through the list and I read the A's as essential."
Prioritizing tasks is, according to Corcoran, the key to a successful day. "I go in the next morning, get my A’s out of the way." What's an A? "The A's are everything you want to do, the things that push your business ahead. The things you don't want to confront, the things you don't want to say [but] that you have to really say to somebody."
Does that mean Corcoran does every uncomfortable thing first? It looks like it! "Even firing people," she says, "which is the worst part of running any job. I do that upfront."
