Billie Shepherd has said she 'almost had a C-section' with her third child during her three-day labour.
The former TOWIE star gave birth back in December 2022 to her second daughter and third child Margot.
However, she has now spoken about the long labour and that she almost needed to have a C-section.
Ahead of the birth, Billie had set her eyes on a water birth like her sister Sam Faiers, but this plan didn't work out.
The 33-year-old said her most recent birth was the most "stressful" but wanted it to be similar to her first two.
Speaking to OK!, Billie said that at one point she thought she needed an emergency C-section.
She said: "I’ve never had a C-section. I wanted to have a similar birth to what I did with the other two, though this time I was thinking about a water birth. Then on the flipside, it’s like I’ll do whatever needs to be done to get the baby here safely."
Billie stayed at home for the first 24 hours after her waters broke but because she didn't start contracting she then had to go to hospital.
She was put on a labour ward but her husband Greg had to go home due to hospital rules.
It wasn't until another 24 hours later that she was then induced.
On day three she was sent to a birthing suite where she was put on an oxytocin drip.
But due to the baby having no water around her for so long, Billie thought she'd need a C-second because her cervix wasn't dilating.
However, the next time the doctor came in they found that she was nine centimeters dilated so she could start pushing despite Billie being so tired.
Billie said: "I was exhausted and I got this adrenaline and I don’t know where the energy came from within to push her out, but I was determined. I thought, 'That’s it, I’m getting her out now.'"
After the long labour Margot arrived safely at 6.16pm on 2 December 2022 and weighed 7lb 10oz.
Billie and Greg's two younger children Nelly and Arthur came to visit their new baby sister less than an hour after she was born.
