A superyacht designed to redefine luxury through silence and sustainability has unexpectedly found itself at the centre of a noise controversy. The 390-foot (119-metre) hydrogen-powered Breakthrough, originally commissioned for Bill Gates before being sold to Canadian billionaire Patrick Dovigi, reportedly sparked online complaints after an onboard party disturbed residents of a quiet Italian village. Anchored off Scaglieri Beach on Elba Island in late July, music from the gathering was said to have carried across the bay, prompting criticism on social media. Although authorities reported no fines or official investigation, the incident drew attention because one of the world's quietest yachts made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
