New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick’s main focus is Kansas City, as the team prepares for Sunday afternoon’s showdown. Even with questions swirling about his job status, his only concern is the Week 15 matchup.
When speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Belichick dodged every question thrown his way that was related to the recent bombshell report by Tom E. Curran.
Per Curran, who spoke with sources around the team during the international game against the Indianapolis Colts in Germany, a decision has already been made to move on from Belichick after the season. Whether there’s a parting of the ways or not remains to be seen, but for now, Belichick isn’t talking about it.

Belichick doesn’t have to answer questions not relating to the game, but the game itself is proof how bad this season has been. It was originally slated to be a Monday Night Football game, but it was ultimately flexed to Sunday afternoon.
This season will mark the third losing season for the Patriots in four years. In what could be viewed as somewhat of a silver lining, the Patriots currently hold the second overall selection in the 2024 NFL draft.
New England has not beat the Chiefs since the 2019 AFC Championship Game. If anything, it’s a reminder of a changing of the guard in the NFL. Kickoff for Sunday’s game is set for 1 p.m. ET.
