The Mac Jones experience isn’t going so well for the New England Patriots.

Despite a solid showing against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1 and middling starts the last two outings, Jones had a rough go of things against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Coming out of the half, down 28-3, Jones picked up his second interception of the day in Dallas territory, putting the kibosh on any attempt at a comeback.

Jones’ first interception? An absolutely brutal and carelessly tossed pick-six that DaRon Bland snagged to make it 28-3 before halftime. Seriously, this interception and touchdown is as bad as it comes in the NFL.

Rough stuff. And Patriots head coach Bill Belichick agreed, as his exasperated facepalm after Jones’ interception really said it all here.

Unfortunately for the Patriots, Tom Brady isn’t waiting in the wings to help New England climb out of this deficit. NFL fans, however, turned Belichick’s frustrated facepalm into a hilarious meme.
