Bijnor: Family lost way due to kanwar yatra diversions, rescued

BIJNOR: Uttar Pradesh police rescued a family of four from the jungles of Balawali region of Bijnor after they lost their way due to kanwar yatra diversions on Friday night.

According to Bijnor SP Dinesh Singh, “A Delhiite named Apurva Singh, 35, along with his Ukrainian wife Anastasia and two kids lost their way due kanwar yatra diversions while travelling from Delhi to Haridwar. Their car got stuck in the Balawali-Chandak forest region and they called the emergency helpline number 112. Three cops on PVR duty - head constable Sanawwar Ali, constables Anuj Kumar and Noor Hasan - rushed to the spot and rescued the family. All family members are safe.”
