PATNA: As it brought MLAs of all smaller parties and an Independent in its fold soon after the 2020 assembly election to strengthen its position in the lower House, the JD(U) is once again making all possible efforts to bring all four newly elected Independent MLCs under its umbrella to give a political message to its allies in the NDA and the RJD.
One of the four newly elected MLCs, Sachchidanand Rai (Saran local authority constituency), on Friday called on JD(U) national president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh here. The two netas, sources said, discussed strategies to bring all four new MLCs under the umbrella of JD(U).
