Bihar family, charred to death in Ludhiana fire, was to catch train for Samastipur hours after deadly mishap

PATNA: The family, which was charred to death in Ludhiana in the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, was scheduled to catch a train for home district Samastipur (Bihar) from Ludhiana junction on Wednesday evening (April 20), just 12 to 14 hours after the devastating incident.

They had to visit their native village to solemnize marriage of the eldest son Rajesh Kumar (22 year), who is now the only surviving member in the family.
