Bihar: Entries invited for short film contest on HIV awareness

PATNA: State health department has invited entries for a short film competition on awareness and control of human immunodeficiency viruses (HIV). The films could be made in Hindi, Magahi, Bhojpuri and Maithili with subtitles in English.

Health minister Mangal Pandey on Monday said the last date of registration, which opened last month, is July 15. "Students of all government and private colleges of the state would be eligible to participate in it. Colleges and universities of the state have already been directed to notify it on their campuses," he said.

The films, excluding the introduction and casting, would be of three minutes duration. The shorts films made by the students could be sent between July 16 and August 31 to the Bihar state aids control society (BSACS).
