Bihar CM expresses satisfaction over a record procurement of 32.61 lakh MT paddy in current season

PATNA: Expressing satisfaction over a record procurement of 32.61 lakh metric ton (MT) paddy in Bihar till February 1 this year, CM Nitish Kumar on Wednesday asked the officials to work promptly to achieve the current year’s target of paddy procurement in the state.

The state has been given a target of procuring 45 lakh MT paddy in the current Kharif marketing season 2021-22.
