ARA: A 15-year-old boy was injured in a celebratory firing during a marriage procession at Shahpur Baazar ward no 5 under the same police station in Bhojpur district on Tuesday night. The victim was identified as Ranveer Kumar Singh, son of Dr Vinay Kumar Singh, a dental surgeon, who runs his clinic at Dumraon police station road in Buxar district.
According to the police, a marriage procession of his maternal uncle’s relative had reached near their house on Tuesday night and he was leaning over a railing of the rooftop with other boys to watch the ‘baraat’. A youth fired a gunshot that hit the boy in his chest. He was rushed to a surgeon at Ara.
