BigBasket CEO Hari Menon steps down; Amazon veteran Amit Nanda takes over

BigBasket founder Hari Menon has stepped down as the chief executive of the company, nearly 15 years after launching the online grocery firm, the company said in a statement. Tata Digital-backed BigBasket has appointed Amazon veteran Amit Nanda as its chief executive, while Menon will continue to serve on the company's board.

ET had first reported in September 2025 that Menon's tenure was nearing its end following Tata's acquisition of the Bengaluru-based company in 2021, as he had begun charting succession plans.
