Dalara Williams wanted to see people like her in the romcoms she grew up with, so she wrote her own.

After studying acting, the roles the Wiradjuri and Gumbaynggirr woman was asked to audition for were often "tragic" and took a specific lens on the lives of Aboriginal people.
