The big freeze has officially ended which much milder temperatures to kick in over the coming days.
Today in Dublin will be "generally cloudy" with scattered outbreaks of rain. Afternoon temperatures will range from 5 to 8 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds.
Tonight will be very mild with temperatures not dropping below 10 to 11 degrees. Widespread showery rain is also expected.

Tomorrow is forecast to be rather wet and windy with scattered outbreaks of rain around Dublin. Highest temperatures will reach 11 to 13 degrees in fresh to strong south to southwest winds.
While there is no further forecast for Dublin, here is Met Eireann's national outlook for the coming days:
Tuesday
"Rather windy on Tuesday with sunny spells and showers, most frequent across Atlantic counties, some heavy with hail. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southwest winds.
Wednesday
"A breezy day with sunny spells and scattered showers, most of the showers will occur in the morning. Highest temperatures generally ranging 7 to 10 degrees.
Thursday
"Rain clearing to scattered showers and sunny spells on Thursday, with highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees, with light to moderate southerly winds backing southwesterly."
