After more than a year of cautious hiring, several of America's largest employers are adding workers again, with executives saying human employees remain essential as artificial intelligence becomes more deeply integrated into daily operations.
Companies including Alphabet, CSX, Booz Allen Hamilton, ServiceNow and Snap-on have recently told investors they plan to increase hiring in selected areas, marking a shift from the hiring restraint that characterized much of the past 18 months, The Wall Street Journal reported.
