Lauren Harries' mother Katy has made a public appeal for help as she shared a 'scary' update on her health.
The Celebrity Big Brother star, 45, was rushed to hospital in April for an emergency brain operation.
She has remained in hospital and her mother has been sharing updates as Lauren continues to recover from her mystery illness.
In a recent update, Lauren's mum Katy posted to her Twitter page and appealed to her followers for help.
The tweet read: "Please help: Lauren has had a number of blackouts after which the right side of her face droops. This is incredibly scary for Lauren and us. She also has a consistent headache.
"Drs haven't been able to explain what is causing these. Have you or someone you know been through this? Any ideas or help you could give will be so helpful.
"@NHSuk have saved Lauren but they can't find any answers for this and it is so scary when it happens, it happened again yesterday. Please help find out what's causing these!"
Earlier this week, Lauren shared her thanks to medical staff for "saving her life" in a tweet shared on Lauren's profile via her famile.
It read: "Lauren wants to thank the amazing work of the NHS staff that have saved her life over a month of being in hospital.
"She is still in the Heath with no date of being released. The nurses have been incredible and wouldn't be an NHS without them.
"Thank you for saving our Lauren. Xx".
During her recovery, Lauren faced a setback as last month she was rushed into intensive care before being moved back to neurology.
The TV star's mum wrote: "Lauren was moved to ICU as she caught Covid as well as 2 infections causing her breathing issues.
"She is awake and talking again back in Neurology. I want to say thank you again to all the amazing staff at Heath Hospital. She still has a way to go but she is strong. Pray for her."
It is still not exactly known what kind of condition or medical issue Lauren is suffering from.
Fans first became aware of Lauren's health battle when a tweet was issued from Lauren's mum from her Twitter page in April.
It read: "Please pray or send good thoughts to my precious daughter Lauren @LaurenHarries. Who is recovering from emergency brain surgery today."
Just three days before, Lauren had tweeted on her own profile to give a candid insight into her transition journey.
She tweeted at the time: "22 years ago I had no outside influences telling me to become a woman, I just knew I was.
"I searched for help. My doctor couldn't help me, trans people were an enigma.
"So to worried parents I suggest that one cannot be sold into having these life changing expensive operations."
Lauren found fame as an antiques expert at the age of 12 as she appeared on the Antiques Roadshow and Wogan. She underwent gender reassignment surgery in 2003.
Lauren is best known for her stint on Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, where she finished in third place.
She has also appeared on Celebrity Juice and Naked Attraction, where she became the first ever celebrity to appear on the Channel 4 dating show.
