Chantelle Houghton has revealed that she would rather be alone than make the same relationship mistakes again.
The former Big Brother star, 39, is content with being single after her three engagements.
The reality TV star, who fell head over heels for Ordinary Boys frontman Samuel Preston during Celebrity Big Brother in 2006, enjoyed a whirlwind romance after they left the house.
The pair tied the knot the same year, but just 10 months later, they split.
Chantelle and Preston have remained on good terms with the Big Brother bombshell inviting Preston to her wedding to fiancé Michael Strutt before they ultimately called off their big day.
Now, Chantelle has said that she's not even texting anyone new because she's so content in her single life.
"I'm not in a relationship with anyone, I'm not seeing anyone - I'm not even texting anyone. I'm OK with that. You have to live in the present," she explained.
"I'm alone right now, I'm not with anyone but I'm ok. Nothing bad is happening. I'm not the kind of person to be with someone for the sake of being with someone," Chantelle told The Sun.
The reality TV icon went on: "I'd rather be on my own, rather than be sat on the sofa with someone who drives you around the bend and you don't want to be romantic with, just for the sake of saying 'oh I'm with somebody'.
"If someone comes along, someone comes along, but I'm not fearful of being OK. I'm not desperate for somebody. I want someone to add to my life, not take from me, which is previously what I've had.
"I'm not allowing anyone to invite problems into my life."
Following her split from Preston in 2006, Chantelle embarked on a relationship with Crimewatch presenter Rav Wilding in 2010.
However, their relationship ended on bad terms and they famously split in 2011 following a very public row.
Following that, Chantelle hit it off with with Katie Price's ex Alex Reid.
The pair got engaged before having a baby in 2012, but unfortunately it wasn't to last, with Chantelle and Alex splitting just months later.
In 2020, the Big Brother star became engaged to property developer Michael Strutt after just a few months of dating.
Sadly, they called it quits a year later.
Chantelle is currently not looking for love, and is happy living her single life the way she sees fit.
