Chanelle Hayes is engaged to Dan Bingham!
The former Big Brother star, 34, revealed she was in her dressing gown and looked like a "dog's dinner" when her partner popped the question.
She confessed to being hungover when her husband-to-be, 40, asked her to marry him.
Chanelle revealed she "had no idea" it would happen "while chilling in my aqua blue velour pyjamas, with a strip lash hanging off my face like a moustache, feeling shaky from the night before".
Speaking to OK! Magazine about the engagement, her partner Dan added: "I had plans to take her away, doing something really nice, but we just couldn't get the timing right with studies, work and the kids.
"It was the day after my 40th birthday and I came downstairs to 40 different presents all lined up. Then I grabbed the ring so there was one extra surprise – just for her."
Dan also revealed it was hard choosing a ring for his future wife after she had a gastric sleeve operation and lost quite a lot of weight.
Chanelle said the ring "fit her like a bracelet" as Dan joked she could have "used it as a belt".
The couple are excited to have their kids be a big part of their wedding day.
The reality star has two children - Blakely, 11, and Frankie, four - from a previous relationship, while Dan has daughter Amelia, 14, from a previous relationship.
She wants her two sons to be page boys, but says Blakely will be like, "No, I’m too cool for this!"
Excited Chanelle is yet to go wedding dress shopping ahead of their wedding.
The star has been putting it off so far as she is due to get her boobs done in January, after losing weight.
She feels more confident than ever to walk down the aisle following her eight stone weight loss.
"I don't know whether I would have wanted to get married if I was still bigger," she said. "But I am excited because I feel confident as I am now."
Chanelle and Dan met during the coronavirus lockdown and instantly fell in love.
They got to know each other inside-out thanks to intimate at-home takeaways and music quizzes.
"Everyone’s got ‘a person’ and Dan is mine," she said.
