Big Brother stars Grace Adams-Short and Mikey Dalton have welcomed their fourth baby 16 years after meeting in the house.
The couple, who got together after starring as contestants on the Channel 4 reality show back in 2006, have said their family is now “complete” following the birth of their son Atticus Henry Dalton, who arrived on 3 January.
Grace and Mikey met on the seventh series of Big Brother, and got engaged just four months later, before tying the knot in 2009.
They set up their own property developing firm, and became parents for the first time with the birth of tier daughter, Georgiana, 10, before adding son Spencer, six, and daughter Allegra, three, to their brood.
Now, they’ve insisted they won’t be having any more children after the difficult birth of Atticus, and Grace revealed she suffered from a life-threatening condition during pregnancy which prompted her to be induced.
“I had to be induced early as I had a condition called anti-C, which can cause complications with the baby’s antibodies,” she told OK!
“I never had it with my other pregnancies, it was stressful,” Grace added, as she said she had to give blood every two weeks.
The former reality star was given a “quite intense” hormone drip to bring on contractions, and she gave birth to baby Atticus in less than 30 minutes.
Grace has “snapped back quite quickly” thanks to keeping healthy and active throughout her pregnancy, and while she confessed it was “hard work” being mum to four kids, it was “so rewarding”.
“It’s such a blessing to be able to have so many children. We feel fortunate to have a big family,” she sweetly shared.
Grace said she’s still being asked if she’s having anymore children, and she admitted having the anti-C condition while pregnant and said it was “nature’s way of telling us that we’re complete now.”
“We’ve also got the dog too, so I think we’re complete!” Mikey joked.
