If you thought Big Brother was messy on-screen, between Holly Young’s two-handed “get stuffed”, Colin Ridley’s chaos and half the cast behaving like it’s week six of Survivor, apparently, the real dumpster fire isn’t even happening inside the house.
No, no. That’s amateur hour. According to fresh tea dropped by someone claiming to work on production, the behind the scenes meltdown is so much worse than anything the housemates have managed to produce.

Breaking down the BTS Big Brother meltdown
An anonymously posted (and now-deleted) rant on Reddit has blown the lid off the alleged simmering tensions. The post, which reads like someone typed it after a 15-hour shift and a cry in the toilets, claims the 2025 season is being held together with “no budget, no support and zero resources”.
Let’s break down the alleged BTS meltdown, titled: “The network hates the production quality.”
According to the post, metrics are “amazing”, but the network “hates the production quality” and the crew is “lean and lacks experience”. Love that for everyone.

Big Brother or Love Island?
Apparently, they’re doing the best they can, but the “live segments” are a “big issue” and the current crew “can’t solve that”.
So if you’ve been yelling at your TV during chaotic live crosses: yes, apparently, same. A senior editorial boss is allegedly trying to turn Big Brother into Love Island.
The rant claims: “A certain person in charge of editorial direction is ramming the Love Island format down your throats… Everybody else hates it. It is not Big Brother.”
This is honestly the least surprising thing I’ve ever read. Big Brother is meant to be about unhinged intruder twists and people arguing about butter, not a sexy slow-mo villa walk.
The crew is allegedly exhausted and running on fumes. The post ends with: “I’m at the end of my rope with this nightmare of a job… brain dump incoming.”
So basically, Big Brother isn’t just dramatic; internally, it’s giving full workplace burnout docuseries. There’s allegedly a war between network execs and the production team, and “Love Islandification” is apparently a real internal argument.

Full-blown witch hunt
And the tea doesn’t stop with the Reddit rant. According to peeps on the ground, there is now a full-blown witch hunt happening behind the scenes to figure out which producer had the time, energy and sheer audacity to drop that post in the first place.
And let’s just say: the list of suspects is… not short.
Apparently, the person who allegedly wrote it is ducking, weaving and doing Olympic-level mental gymnastics to deny any involvement, but insiders say their ongoing conflicts with senior bosses make them the number-one suspect.
“They’re acting nervous,” one crew member reportedly said. “Like… pacing, over-explaining, suddenly offering to make coffee. It’s giving ‘please don’t fire me’ energy.”
Meanwhile, bosses are said to be quietly combing through call sheets, Slack logs and break-room gossip, trying to match the tone of the Reddit rant to someone on staff. And honestly? Chaotic. Iconic. Peak Big Brother energy.
The big players behind the scenes are on the warpath, and I’d dare say that someone is up for eviction.
When approached for comment, a 10 spokesperson told PEDESTRIAN.TV that they “couldn’t be prouder of the show we have created this year”.
“Our goal was to give viewers a return to the original Big Brother they fell in love with back in 2001, and the ratings and fan feedback proves we’ve done just that,” they said. “The vibe on set is electric and everyone is excited to see their hard work culminate in a phenomenal finale on Monday, 8 December.”
