Big Brother co-host Will Best has announced he is expecting his first child with his partner Tobi Rose.

The 41-year-old, who will be taking to the dancefloor in the coming weeks for the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing, shared the news in a post to Instagram recapping his summer.

The TV and radio presenter made the announcement among a series of snaps from a holiday to Sicily, rehearsing for the BBC dancing competition and other glimpses at his life over the past few weeks in his “summer dump”.

Best shared a sweet mirror selfie alongside his fiancee with his hand on her growing baby bump, which was peeking through her flowy polka dot outfit, which he captioned: “Baby, Will?!”

He included another glimpse at her pregnant belly, as well as a picture of him holding baby slippers which look like teddy bears, as he prepares for fatherhood.

The comments were inundated with congratulatory messages, including from Fleur East, with whom he hosts the Hits Radio Breakfast Show.

The presenter wrote: “Ahhhhh! So exciting!! Can’t wait for you to join the parent club.

“Congratulations to you and Tobi. You will be amazing parents.”

His Big Brother co-host AJ Odudu added: “I’ll never forget the day I cried tears of joy in the street when you told me. BABY ON BOARD!”

Others offering their well-wishes include his new Strictly colleagues, such as judge Oti Mabuse and host Johannes Radebe, as well as comedian James Barr and TV presenter Tyler West.

Best has been in a relationship with his fiancee Rose for almost 15 years, and he asked the stylist to marry him during a romantic getaway to Italy in 2024.

He has worked as a broadcaster for over 15 years, beginning his screen career as a presenter on T4 before appearing on This Morning, BBC Three and Viva.

Best also recently won Celebrity Mastermind with the specialist subject of Rivals star, Danny Dyer.

He will be joining the likes of EastEnders actress Lacey Turner, Love Island star Dani Dyer and Australian singer Delta Goodrem as he heads to the ballroom floor later this week to star in the new series of Strictly.

It was announced he would be joining the show in July, and at the time he described the gig as “an absolute dream”, adding: “I’ve been lucky to do lots of live telly before, but absolutely nothing like this. And I cannot wait!

“I have no idea if I can actually dance, but bring on the sequins, bring on the quicksteps, bring on the dance floor! I’m going to try to enjoy every minute of it.”
