Big Brother 2024: Meet the full line-up of housemates for this season

Big Brother has revealed the 16 housemates going head-to-head in the latest series of the ITV rebooted show.

Hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, Big Brother: Live Launch showed the new housemates taking up residence in the nation’s most iconic house, which has been given a fresh lick of paint ahead of the new series.

Expect gripping nominations, elaborate tasks, live evictions plus new twists and turns with all the must-see action playing out inside this famous abode.

The public once again holds all the cards, voting throughout the series and ultimately deciding who will leave the experience with a life changing cash prize of £100,000.

Ahead of the 2024 launch, Big Brother 2023 winner Jordan Sangha admitted he has already spent his winnings.

When asked by GMB what he had spent it on, he said: “I don't know but it's all gone. I got some Gucci boots, they don't really fit me, they're a size too small.

“I got ample Lego, some more garish Alfie Moon shirts, and I got Henry a few teddy bear jumpers as well.

“I have to put a disclaimer on every single photo now just to reassure people that we are still together, it wasn't just a showmance,” he added of his finding love in the BB house in the form of housemate Henry Southan.

Rosie

Rosie (ITV)

Rosie is a 29-year-old Dental Assistant who lives in Cornwall but is originally from Essex.

She believes she will bring “positive energy” to the house and describes herself as “supportive” and a “good listener”. However, she thinks she is most likely to be nominated for coming across as “quite chaotic” and “being the most annoying”.

If she won the prize money, she would like to use it to help others, saying: “I have a few friends that I’d love to pay for them to have IVF treatment. I would also like to help people with mental health issues. I like helping people anyway but if I had money I’d be in a better position to do that. I’d also love to help dog charities – I love dogs!”

Emma

(ITV)

Like Rosie, 53-year-old aesthetics business owner Emma is originally from Essex, but now calls Altrincham home.

She sounds like a character already as she can’t decide whether she’s going to bring “peace” or “drama” to the house and says she’s most likely to get nominated if people don’t get her humour or think she’s too “abrupt”.

If she wins the prize money she would like to give some to her kids, some to her 82-year-old dad, and rent a big villa for a lovely holiday with her “nearest and dearest”.

Segun

Segun (ITV)

Charity videographer Segun, 25, is from Watford and says he’s here to bring some “comedic energy”.

He feels he is most likely to get nominated for “laughing in situations that aren’t funny”. He explained: “I laugh in situations that are quite serious and people might feel disrespected. I do it just to bring some levity to situations, but I do laugh at inappropriate times.”

Big-hearted Segun says if he wins Big Brother he would like to help his mum fund the renovation of her house and donate some money to Cancer Research UK, where he has worked.

Nathan

Nathan (ITV)

Nathan is a 24-year-old pork salesman from Dumfries who interestingly used to be Prince (now King) Charles’s butler. The staunch Tory warned he is a “strong character” who is up for a “spirited debate”, so people in the BB house should be ready for that.

He thinks he’s most likely to get nominated by the other housemates for “accidentally offending someone” if they “take something I’ve said the wrong way”.

Admitting that he’s “quite vain”, Nathan says he would spend the prize money on a new set of veneers.

Daze

Daze (ITV)

Self-confessed “people person” Daze is a 24-year-old climate activist from London.

She say she applied to be on Big Brother because “there’s something about allowing yourself to find moments of grace that really interested me”.

While she says she’s happy to bring a “listening and empathetic ear” to her house mates, there’s one issue they may fall out over and that’s food.

Daze said: “I like food a lot. I know that can sometimes be a contentious thing in the house. So I’m going to try to not eat too much.”

As for the prize money, she admits: “It’s been a difficult financial period for me – climate activism is quite often something you do in debt. It would be nice to have money to do the work. I’d also help my family, and other activists as well.”

Khaled

Khlaed (ITV)

Prepare for some deep conversations with 23-year-old sales manager Khaled from Manchester, who says his conversation topic of choice is “Adlerian psychology and philosophy”.

The thing most likely to see him up for nomination? “I tell it like it is – that’s a guarantee. Even though I feel like I can positively say something with the right intention, there will still be someone who has a problem with it.”

If he scooped the prize money he says he would donate money to Palestine and Lebanon, take his family on holiday and invest in a health business in the UK.

Martha

Martha (ITV)

Martha, 26, is from Scarborough/Margate. She’s an NHS administrator who lives with her girlfriend, and is obsessed with Google and her pet rabbit. She said she might get evicted for being “the most annoying, or most loud”. What would she do with the money if she won? “I would buy my dream handbag. Then I’d take my mum to Disneyland and take my nan on a nice holiday.”

Lily

Lily (ITV)

Touted as an early bookies favourite to win, Lily, 20, is a Chinese takeaway server from Warrington. She sounds like she doesn’t really know what she has got herself into as she originally applied for the show because it was her ex’s favourite, but they broke up and she’d never heard of Big Brother before.

Drawn on what she’s likely to be evicted for, she admitted: “Probably that I’m annoying but I don’t care.”

Aside from the best revenge ever on her Big Brother-loving ex, she says if she wins, she’d spend the money on “a party holiday to Ibiza with a private jet”. Adding: “I just want to rinse it all because I wouldn’t have it anyway.”

Ali

Ali (ITV)

While now a proud Londoner, Ali is originally from Leicester. The 38-year-old forensic psychologist intends to bring “humour” and “friendship” to the house.

She’s a big advocate for kindness and it could end up being her downfall, explaining: “If someone does something I think maybe isn’t kind, or could have been a bit better thought through, I have this thing where I tend to tell people.”

As for the prize money, She would like to use some of it to raise awareness around mental health, and give some to her sister “because she needs a break”.

Thomas

Thomas (ITV)

Don’t underestimate this 20-year-old amputee footballer from Carlisle who says he wanted to go on Big Brother because “yolo” [you only live once]. He says he “hates silence” and talks “a lot”. “I do a lot of talking without thinking. In myself I never get offended, you can say anything about me – I’ve already heard it before.”

He has already spent his prize money in his head, saying he would get a house, upgrade his car and “explore a lot of things”.

Ryan

Ryan (ITV)

Say hello to Ryan, who is 28, works in marketing and events and lives in Stockport but is originally from Blackpool.

He says being on Big Brother is realising “a childhood dream” and promises to bring “dad jokes” aplenty to the house.

His downfall could be annoying people by “being a bit loud” and sometimes not taking things seriously.

If he wins, he said he will “try to be strategic with it and put it into some investments” as well as donate to a hospice and a leukaemia charity, plus take his friends and family on holiday.

Hannah

Hannah (ITV)

Hannah, 24, is a HR consultant from west London who describes herself as “a fun, childish person who loves to laugh and banter around” and intends to bring “pure vibes” to her time in the BB house.

Asked why she might be nominated, she said: “I feel like whoever nominates is just a hater, babes! I think it might be my opinions that people nominate me for. No one can nominate me for being a dirty babes, I’m far from that – no one can come for me in regards to cleaning.”

As for what she would do with her winnings, she said: “I have a friend who passed away this year, I have known him since I was seven years old – I would give some on behalf of him to charity.” The rest she’d give to food banks and use to fund a masters.

Izaaz

Izaaz (ITV)

29-year-old sales consultant Izaaz lives in London, but he is originally from Swansea.

He may find himself clashing with a couple of the housemates as like them, says he’s “straightforward” and doesn’t like to “beat around the bush”.

Izaaz has a five-year-old son and says he wants to use the prize money towards his little boy’s future.

He said: “If I was single, I’d probably spend it on enjoying a few things. £100,000 is a lot of money and a good amount of money to try and stabilise a better future. I would use it to help my son as he grows older.”

Sarah

Sarah (ITV)

Sarah, a 27-year-old spa account manager from Shrewsbury says for her, Big Brother is about doing “one more crazy thing” before she settles down with her partner.

While she says she’s good at “bringing people together”, she might rub some up the wrong way for “being too loud, being annoying and being messy.”

If she won the cash, she would have her dream wedding, go on a nice holiday and start her own business.

Marcello

Marcello (ITV)

Youth mentor Marcello says he applied to Big Brother “to test myself” and is also up for finding love on the show.

The 34-year-old from East London loves to rap and has admitted that he has a tendency to “wind people up”

If he wins the £100,000, he said: “I would treat my mum and my grandma. They’ve been there for me through thick and thin and have always supported me. I would love to take them away, look after them. After that, I’d love to create some security for myself.”

Dean

Dean (ITV)

Dean, 35, from east London is a barber and after being a fan of Big Brother for “the longest time,” says he finally felt that “this is my time to apply”.

While he describes himself as a “big softie”, he admitted he can be “annoying”. He explained: “Sometimes if there’s a silence I like to fill it. I’ll probably get nominated for talking too much.”

If he wins, he intends to take a six-month sabbatical involving going on “many holidays”.

He added: “I’d like to potentially start my own shop. I would also like to give some to my brother so I could give my nephew the best education possible.”
