NEW DELHI: India suffered a body blow to its Hockey World Cup campaign on Monday, losing attacking midfielder Hardik Singh to a hamstring injury, Timesofindia.com has learnt. He has been ruled out of India's last pool game against Wales, with a serious question mark over his availability for the rest of the tournament as well.
Hardik was India's best player in their two matches against Spain and England but pulled his hamstring in the fourth quarter of India's 0-0 draw against England on Sunday. India opened their campaign with a 2-0 win over Spain.
