Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons says he was ‘miserable’ during time on cult show

Jim Parsons, who played Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory for 12 years, revealed he was "miserable" and "stressed" during his time on the hit CBS sitcom.
The actor stated he would not return to those days for "any amount of money," describing his work ethic as bordering on "obsessive behaviour."
Parsons' relationship with the character of Sheldon is "evolving" and "getting better all the time" since the show concluded.
The Big Bang Theory ended after its 12th season because Parsons reportedly turned down a $50m offer to continue for two more seasons.
A new spin-off series, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe , is set to launch next month, following the recent conclusion of Young Sheldon after seven seasons.
