The Biden campaign has announced that it will no longer be suggesting questions to interviewers of the president. A source familiar with the Biden booking operation stated that while interview hosts have always had the freedom to ask any questions they please, the campaign will now refrain from offering suggested questions in the future.
This decision comes after a radio host in Philadelphia, Andrea Lawful-Sanders, revealed that she had received a list of recommended questions from Biden's team, from which she selected four to ask the president. Lawful-Sanders was one of the first interviewers to speak with President Joe Biden following his lackluster debate performance, as allies had urged the president to engage in more spontaneous interactions.
