The 2024 general election race is set to be the longest in history, with 286 days remaining until November 5th. All indications point to a likely rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. In light of this, a conversation with Cedric Richmond, the co-chair of Biden's reelection campaign and former congressman of Louisiana, sheds light on the campaign's strategy moving forward.

The Biden campaign recently announced that Donald Trump appears to have secured the GOP nomination, solidifying his control over the Republican Party and its base. As a result, the Biden campaign is transitioning into general election mode. To bolster their efforts, two former campaign aides are joining the team, bringing their expertise and experience from the previous campaign.
