Bid to increase height of Glenkens turbines heading to Holyrood

Scottish Government Glenkens Holyrood Dalry

The bid to have the height of turbines at a windfarm development in the Glenkens increased is heading to Holyrood.

Energiekontor UK has lodged an appeal with the Scottish Government over its planned development at Glenshimmeroch near Dalry.

It comes after the council failed to make a decision to increase the height of the 10 windmills to 200m within the required time frame.
