Plans have been submitted that could see a new drive-through built off a major Sefton road.
The proposals for the site at Switch Island in Aintree were submitted to Sefton Council last week. The applicant, Aver Property General Management Ltd, said it is "in discussions with several interested operators" for the drive-through restaurant, which would be based at the Switch Island Leisure Park off Dunnings Bridge Road.
According to documents submitted to the local authority requesting outline planning permission, the drive through would be close to the Odeon cinema and existing McDonald’s and Subway drive throughs nearby.
