BHUBANESWAR: Police on Saturday arrested two inter-state fraudsters for allegedly duping a candidate of Rs 30 lakh by promising him a seat in the gynaecology department of a private medical college hospital here.
Nine mobile phones, two laptops and Rs 10 lakh cash were seized from the fraudsters — Sugat Chaudhury of West Bengal and Abhimanyu Singh of Bihar. The accused were brought from their respective native places and produced at a local court here, which remanded them in judicial custody.
