Bhopal: Apathy towards safety rules cost dear in Kerwa

BHOPAL: The death of three boys, who drowned in ‘Mout Ka Kuan’ in Kerwa Dam downstream on Thursday, has once again raised concerns. Police officers maintained that there are warning signs and boards put up near the spot cautioning people not to enter the water body but people still go for a dive there. There is a police check-post too, but people make excuses to enter the forest area road.

The victims Nishant Jain, 19, a resident of Jain Temple premises in MP Nagar, Shubham Adhikari, 16, and Mohit Soundhia, 17, both residents of 7-Number Stop area, were classmates and best friends.
