Bhopal: 33-year-old hospital owner electrocuted while trying to fix a steel rod to hoist the tricolour on Independence Day

BHOPAL: A 33-year-old man, son of a renowned surgeon, was electrocuted while he was trying to fix a steel rod to hoist the flag on the terrace of his newly started hospital in Ayodhya Nagar locality on Monday morning.

The 20-feet long steel rod slipped as it was not tied properly and touched a high-tension line passing nearby. The victim suffered a severe electric shock as it was drizzling and the terrace was wet. His wife along with the hospital staff rushed him to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead. Acting on information, Ayodhya Nagar police reached the spot and registered a case.
