BHOPAL: Although there was peace at railway stations and bus stand over the bandh called up against the Agnipath scheme, several people stuck on railway station and even cancelled their reservation to avoid any untoward situation. Notably, railway had to cancel 10 up-down trains passing from Bhopal.
Police and administration were on alert in Madhya Pradesh. Force has been deployed at Bhopal railway station as a precaution after violent demonstrations have taken place in Gwalior against the plan.
