BharatBenz adds new Supaul dealership to Bihar network

BharatBenz has expanded its commercial vehicle network in Bihar with the opening of a new dealership in Supaul, strengthening its sales and after-sales reach across the Koshi belt.

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), which makes BharatBenz trucks and buses, inaugurated the Devkrishna Trucking dealership in Supaul on September 12. The facility is expected to serve commercial vehicle customers across Supaul, Saharsa, Madhepura and Araria.

The expansion comes as BharatBenz looks to bring sales, service and spare-parts support closer to transporters, fleet owners and commercial vehicle operators in key freight markets.

The new dealership is a four-bay 3S (sales, service and spares) facility spread across about 40,000 sq ft. It has an annual service capacity of around 1,800 vehicles and includes a dedicated workshop and trained technical team aimed at reducing vehicle downtime.

The facility is located on the Supaul-Kishanpur-Bhaptiyahi Road along NH-327A. It also provides connectivity to the NH-27 East-West Corridor through Araria, giving BharatBenz access to a wider part of North Bihar.

“The new dealership in Supaul is an important step in strengthening BharatBenz’s presence across North Bihar and the Koshi belt,” Rajiv Chaturvedi, president and chief business officer, DICV, said.

“By bringing our sales, service and spares support closer to customers, we are enabling greater accessibility, faster service and improved vehicle uptime,” he added.

With the new facility, Devkrishna Trucking now operates two BharatBenz touchpoints in the region — a 3S dealership in Supaul and a 2S (service and spares) dealership in Araria.

The company said the two facilities will strengthen its coverage across the Koshi belt, particularly in Supaul, Saharsa, Madhepura and Araria.

BharatBenz also offers vehicle exchange programmes and financing options through partnerships with more than 20 banks and non-banking financial companies. Its exchange programme allows customers to trade in BharatBenz as well as other commercial vehicle brands for new BharatBenz trucks.

The Supaul dealership is part of BharatBenz’s broader expansion of its sales and service network, aimed at improving customer access and support across India’s commercial vehicle markets.
