Bharat Jodo Yatra Day 109: Rahul Gandhi Resumes Second Leg Of Yatra From Delhi To UP; Heavy Traffic Jam In Ghaziabad

Led by Rahul Gandhi Bharat Jodo Yatra resumes from Delhi

New Delhi: The Congress Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed on Tuesday from Delhi after a 9-day winter break for Christmas and New Year.

Rahul Gandhi resumed Bharat Jodo Yatra  from the Marghat Wale Baba Hanuman Temple in Yamuna Bazar after offering prayers in the Temple and invoking the blessings of Lord Hanuman.

The Yatra, through Outer Ring Road,  is entering Uttar Pradesh via the Loni border in Ghaziabad, resulting in massive traffic jams in the area as the traffic was completely stopped at the yatra route.

The Party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also joined the Yatra in Ghaziabad.

Earlier, the traffic police of Delhi and Ghaziabad had issued advisories to people to  avoid Yatra route.

The Yatra is scheduled to travel through Uttar Pradesh from 3 to 5 January and enter Haryana on 6 January and leave on 10 January to set foot in Punjab on 11 January.
