Shares of Bharat Forge plunged nearly 9% on Monday after the company reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 89.89 crore for the first quarter of the ongoing FY27, against a net profit of Rs 284 crore in the same period last year, as one-time losses cumulatively worth Rs 358 crore dragged down the bottomline.
Bharat Forge shares dropped to Rs 2,071 apiece, putting them on track to record the sharpest single-day decline in more than two years. The company’s revenue from operation rose nearly 19% year-on-year to Rs 4,640 crore in the April-June quarter of FY27, up from Rs 3,909 crore reported in the year-ago period.
