Britain's Got Talent aired chaos at the start of Thursday's semi-final episode, as Mr Blobby decided to gatecrash the live show.
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly were left asking what was going on as the character appeared on stage with the judges, and Simon Cowell was "missing".
Simon was meant to be there but instead Mr Blobby was in his place, joined by Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.
Suddenly, Mr Blobby made a run for it in the funny skit and dived off the stage - only to be stopped by a member of security.
The security guard proceeded to drag the character through the venue and out the back as the audience cheered, and Mr Blobby made his usual noises.
It's then that Simon finally appeared on stage, walking out to join the judges as if nothing had happened.
Ant and Dec then advised viewers that Mr Blobby had been safely escorted out of the building, and that he would not be coming back.
As the judges mocked the comedic moment, Alesha confessed that when Mr Blobby flew off the stage he almost landed on her young daughter, who was sitting in the crowd.
Viewers watching at home begged the character to return, joking he'd be better at judging the acts than the judges.
One viewer said: "Petition to have Mr Blobby as a full time judge!"
Another tweeted: "Switch Bruno with blobby," as a third said: "Rather have Mr Blobby as a judge."

It comes following the announcement of six finalists across this week, with two more announced on Wednesday night.
Ghetto Kids and Travis George were sent into the final thanks to the pubic votes, with the judges divided.
Dance group Ghetto Kids were sent straight through to the final by the initial public vote, already having impressed the judges with their performance.
This meant singer Travis had to go against guitarist Harry Churchill, with both of them in the top three.
It was up to the judges to choose who to save but after Bruno and Alesha saved Travis, Amanda and Simon opted to save Harry.
Ant and Dec had to go back to the public vote, where it was revealed Travis had been saved with Harry going home.
On Tuesday night, Viggo Venn and Olivia Lynes were the two acts revealed to have made it through.
First to be confirmed for the final was comedy and dance act Viggo, who shared his love for Hi Vis jackets - before getting everyone on their feet.
Despite not impressing everyone during the first audition, the act won the judges over this time as Alesha and Simon both confessed they loved his act.
The judges even claimed it was the best act of the night, and were thrilled when he made it through to the final based on the public vote.
Olivia then had to face fellow top three act Johns’ Boys, a choir group, as the judges were asked to choose which act to send through.
While Bruno saved Johns’ Boys, Simon, Amanda and Alesha all picked young singer Olivia which left her in tears.
Meanwhile, on Monday it was dancer Musa Motha and singer Amy Lou who won the first Britain's Got Talent semi-final of the series.
Talented dancer Musa, 27, was sent straight through to the final by viewers, so it went down to the judges' vote.
Ukelele musician and school teacher Abi Carter-Simpson and sunbed receptionist-turned-singer Amy Lou went up against one another.
As the judges struggled to decide, it went to the public vote and Amy Lou came second in the public vote.
There will be 10 acts in total in the live final on Sunday.
Britain's Got Talent's live semi-finals air all this week at 8PM on ITV1 and ITVX.
