Simon Cowell's changing face left Britain's Got Talent fans concerned tonight as they tuned in for the launch show.
The ITV talent show is back for the latest series after it was forced off air for two years owing to the coronavirus pandemic, and as Simon made his return to the panel with Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams, fans were shocked by his new look.
Taking to Twitter, fans noted his new appearance after Simon confessed he had "gone a bit far" with his fillers previously, and has had it all removed as he turns to healthy eating and upping his water intake.
"What’s happened to Simon cowell?? Is his face ok?? #bgt," one fan wrote.
A second added: "Simon Cowell looks different but I can’t put my finger on it, has he had some work done?! #BGT," as a third wrote: "What's wrong with Simon Cowells face? #BGT."
"Oh Simon… what’s going on. Doesn’t even look like him anymore! #BGT,"a fourth penned.
Simon previously confessed he didn't recognise himself from before he had fillers - and has since removed them.
"There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognise it as me first of all," he explained previously, "Eric was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.
"There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other. But actually, for me now, a lot of it comes down to healthy eating and drinking tonnes of water."
Speaking of his regret at deciding to pump his face with fillers, he said: “Hopefully I look better now – I probably did have a little too much Botox a couple of years ago, because everyone on TV has it. Now I have facials, but nothing too extravagant at the moment. I have a girl who comes here and does a great face massage - it's very relaxing."
Simon has lost a lot of weight recently and puts it down to a new diet.
"I went to see this guy who’s very well-known. And he said to me, after doing some blood work, 'You can’t have red meat, dairy, sugar, bread or gluten,'" he revealed as he said alcohol wasn't banned by the health expert but he was recommended to reduce it
"And he said, 'Maybe not quite as much [alcohol] as you had before'. And I did it and I stuck to it and it’s easy."
*Britain’s Got Talent continues this Sunday at 19:35 on ITV and ITV Hub.
