Beyonce runs up huge £2,000 bill at Nandos before Sunderland concert

Beyonce was clearly feeling 'cheeky' as she ran up a massive bill at Nandos, just days before the Sunderland stop on her Renaissance tour, with her colossal order becoming headline news on Monday's This Morning.

After kicking off her string of shows in Europe earlier this year, the music icon brought her new tour to the UK last week, starting the British leg of the Renaissance tour at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, in front of a packed house of fans and press and earning rave reviews for her 'visually spectacular' show.

On Tuesday night it will be the turn of Sunderland to welcome Queen B, with the Stadium of Light the next calling point on the tour. On Saturday night, Beyonce entertained a captive audience in Edinburgh.

And she made sure her hard working crew were kept well fed as a member of her team placed a massive near £2,000 order at the Fountain Park branch.

A photo of the treceipt went viral as soon as it was posted online, especially given the fact there was no disguising who the food was for, as the name given for the order was actually Beyonce.

The receipt shows that her order consisted of 50 sunset burgers, 30 fino pittas, 30 butterfly burgers, 60 chicken pittas, 20 beanie burgers, and 10 chicken wings. The whole order came to £1,809.35 including tax.

Beyonce's order was a talking point in the opening minutes of This Morning, with Dermot O'Leary quipping: "If she doesn't order boneless thighs, that's a waste of an order!

Could we see a similar order from the Nandos in Sunderland city centre or Boldon? Don't rule it out!
