There was plenty of buildup to the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony. Between what the athletes were wearing (although Ralph Lauren's outfits for Team USA received a rather lukewarm reception), Lady Gaga's fantastic feathered performance and Celine Dion's flashy Christian Dior gown that was almost as epic as her comeback, it was fashion overload. Not that we're complaining, of course. But Beyoncé introducing Team USA in a bedazzled red, white and blue swimsuit was definitely not on our bingo card.
In the video, the superstar also sports a Thom Browne Spring 2023 varsity opera coat in red, white and navy silk taffeta, naturally. There was one slight alteration, however. Beyoncé's version featured the Olympic rings on the back. Clearly not out of her country phase, she also flaunted a cowboy hat.
