Beyonce Day is officially here and the music icon confirmed her arrival in Sunderland with a very simple but very obvious change to her Instagram which fans have gone wild for.
It was back at the start of February, months after the release of the album of the same name, that tickets went on sale for Queen B's Renaissance tour, with her North East fans over the moon that the Stadium of Light was only one of a handful of UK venues to make the cut.
Beyonce was last in Sunderland in 2016, when she brought her Formation show to Wearside and now the time has come for tens of thousands of music lovers to descend on the Stadium of Light. The Renaissance tour began in Europe earlier this month, with the UK leg beginning at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on May 17.
