Beyonce has been spotted checking into a hotel at the same Italian resort where Kourtney Kardashian will marry Travis Barker in a few hours time.
The singing superstar was an unlikely arrival in the picturesque town of Portofino, which has been taken over by the Kardshian-Jenner clan ahead of Sunday's wedding ceremony.
A source at destination told Hello! magazine how Beyonce was seen heading into the same digs where Kourtney's family and her other guests are staying during the celebrations - fuelling rumours she might grace the nuptials with her presence.
Megan Fox has also been seen in the Italian town as she prepares so support pal Kourtney on her big day.
This weekend marks the third time the reality star and Blink 182 drummer have said 'I do' after previously getting drunk married in Las Vegas and having their official ceremony at a Santa Barbara courthouse.
A holiday maker staying in Portofino told HELLO!: "There were about 20 friends and family of the couple staying at the hotel and they were all very friendly, stylish and excited about the wedding. We chatted by the pool."
They added: "The town went crazy when the Kardashians arrived – and they all looked incredible close up and looked so happy to be in such a beautiful location for the wedding."
Beyonce is no stranger to the Italian resort, having been papped on previous occasions enjoying the delights of the coast with her husband Jay-Z and their three children.
She even appears to have got friendly with the happy couple in recent weeks, having invited Kourtney and Travis to her Oscars party with Jay-Z this year.
However, Beyonce may be viewed as unexpected guest at a Kardashian wedding given her past history with the family and in particular second eldest daughter Kim.
Kim is said to have been a huge fan of Queen Bey and made several attempts to get in her good favour over the years particularly while married to Kanye West, but the relationship is long been rumoured to have been one-sided.
Kim's estranged hubby Kanye could have a lot to do with the tension after publicly slamming Beyonce and his former mentor Jay-Z in the past.
During his 2016 Saint Pablo Tour, the outspoken rap mogul paused a show to rant: "Beyoncé, I was hurt 'cause I heard that you said you wouldn't perform unless you won video of the year over me and over 'Hotline Bling.'" He added, "Now, don't go trying to diss Beyoncé. She is great ... We are all great people. We are all equal, but sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are just to win."
Taking aim at Jay-Z, Kanye went on: " Jay Z, call me, bruh. You still ain't called me. Jay Z, call me ...
"Jay Z, I know you got killers. Please don't send them at my head. Just call me. Talk to me like a man."
At another concert, Kanye addressed the 99 Problems hitmaker again, as he complained to his audience: "Our kids ain't never even played together."
The rappers, who had been pals since the 90s, then exchanged blows across subsequent tracks and interviews.
In April 2018, Kanye admitted in an interview that the bad blood started between the foursome when Jay and Beyonce snubbed his wedding to Kim.
Reports in the US said that Beyonce felt an unease towards Kim for sharing her entire life on her family reality show, with the singer preferring to keep her family life to herself.
A source told Radar Online that Bey referred to Kim as 'scandalous' and 'social climbing' behind her back.
In October 2021, Beyonce appeared to reach out to Kim as she publicly wished her a happy birthday on Instagram.
When the SKIMS founder turned 41, Beyonce gave her a shout out on her official website.
Things went a step further when Beyonce gifted Kim items from her Ivy Park X Adidas collection last year.
Kanye also appeared to do his bit to smooth over the cracks as he posted a photo of The Carters posing in the back of a car together to his social media pages with the caption 'famleeeee'.
He also successfully asked Jay to feature on his Donda album in 2021.
The Mirror has reached out to Beyonce's representatives for comment.
